Abstract EN

The current paper deals with the question of financing scientific research in Algeria in the last decade.

Government in Algeria has adopted a series of measures aiming at the promotion of scientific research in the frame of general economic development project planned for in President Abdul-Aziz Boutaflika’s quinquennial projects namely 1999-2004, 2005-2009 and 2010-2014 projects.

However the financial resources being limited in comparison with the other sectors and with other countries represents a major challenge to the success of general development opportunities.
