Abstract EN

This research deals with the economic effect of forbidding serving alcoholic drinks in the hotels of Egypt and finding the reaction of the tourists visiting Egypt from all over the world.

Besides, the economic influence on the profitability of the hotel was studied.

According to the survey, it was concluded that the number of tourists coming to Egypt won't be affected by prohibiting serving alcohols.

And this shows how the tourists respect other countries traditions.

• Additionally, the profitability of the hotels would not be much affected by stop-serving the alcoholic drinks, as it represents minor profit compared to the profit of the hotels.
