This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the performance of contextual faculty staff at Egyptian universities, and professional development for them, the study used a descriptive approach, and applied to the study on a sample of 111 faculty staff at Egyptian universities, and The results of the study that there is no correlation between the performance of contextual and total development axes professional, which includes all of the training courses, attending conferences, Scientific productivity, while there is a strong positive correlation between the performance of contextual and attend conferences, and there is a strong relationship between Scientific productivity and job commitment, and there is an inverse relationship between the performance of contextual and attend courses, and study recommended the need to meet the needs of the training courses faculty members., and to encourage scientific research and attend conferences.
