Abstract EN

This paper deals with how the Nubians of the Christian kingdom of al –Muqurra in northern Sudan adopted Islam instead of Christianity gradually and peacefully by the effect of their neighboring The Egyptians.

It is known that the muslims conquered the Byzantines in Egypt in 641 and most of the Egyptians were soon converted to Islam , this was not the case with The Nubians in muqurra who clashed with the Muslims in Egypt repeatedly ending that with agreements where by the Nubians remained Christians ; but they were gradually and peacefully changed to Islam by the effect of close contact with the Muslims in Egypt and the others who migrated to the Sudan .
