Abstract EN

The research included psychological variables that researchers found important among disabled players of arch and arrow and identified their objectives by identifying : Social adaptation and social support among disabled players of arch and arrow .

Most players of arch and arrow enjoy social adaptation and good social support.

2.

The relationship between social adaptation and social support among disabled players of arch and arrow.

The research community identified the Iraqi disabled players of arch and arrow of (90) players.

The sample was randomized by (80) players as well as the selection of (10) players for the exploratory experiment.

The researchers used the descriptive method in the method of survey and correlative relationships to achieve the research objectives .

They used the measure of social adaptation consisting of (43) items ,and the measure of social support consisted of (32) items.

In order to apply the two measures, the researchers proved the psychometric properties for them.

Then the two measures were applied to the sample number ,totaling (80) players representing the disabled players of arch and arrow.

The researchers came out with several conclusions such as : 1.

Most players of arch and arrow enjoy social adaptation and good social support.

2.

Higher social adaptation is associated with high social support among disabled players of arch and arrow.

The researchers recommended the need to deal properly with psychological disabled players of arch and arrow bow and arrow players based on raising their social adaptation and enhance their social support.
