Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the Alexithymia and its relation to the Psychological Adjustment of students with learning disabilities.

The study identified a sample of students with learning disabilities in Cairo and Suez Governorate.

The sample of the study was 80 students with learning disabilities, ranging from 12 to 14 years, The study used the following tools: the Alexithymia scale (the researcher's preparation) and the Psychological Adjustment measure (Zinab Shuqair, 2003).

After confirming their cytometric properties, they were applied to the research sample.

The data were processed by the appropriate statistical methods.

 There is a statistically significant correlational correlation between Alexithymia and Psychological Adjustment in a sample of students with learning disabilities.

 There are statistically significant differences between children with high learning disabilities and low Alexithymia in psychological adjustment for the benefit of Alexithymia.

 Alexithymia can be predicted for students with learning disabilities through their Psychological Adjustment study
