The purpose of the research is to explain the similarities and differences between ideal philosophy and realistic philosophy in terms of the objectives of education, in addition to the concept of philosophy, education and objectives in language and terminology, the importance of philosophy in the life of the individual and society, and the presentation of philosophy in terms of concept, To the desired end of this research.

In order to achieve the objectives of the research, and a solution to the question, and answer to his questions, the researcher followed a number of interlocking research methods required by the research, the most prominent descriptive research methodology, which is described both philosophies idealism and realism in all aspects, and the researcher used the comparative method because it is appropriate approach To show the similarities and differences between ideal philosophy and realistic philosophy in terms of their goals in education.

The research reached scientific results, including: that there is a similarity between the two philosophies in terms of the objectives of education goals were the following objectives: the development of the individual mentally and morally, and enable learners to adapt and compatibility with the community and the environment in which they live, namely: training the learner to carry out social responsibilities, Learner to grasp the fixed facts and the total knowledge, and access to certainty knowledge.

And that there is a difference between the two philosophies in terms of the content of the objectives was that the ideal philosophy concerned the development of the individual mentally and morally, and training to recognize the facts and knowledge of the total, to access the virtues and ideals, the fact that the mind is the basis of access to the facts of reflection and reflection, while we find that the philosophy of realism has taken care The development of aspects of human personality and integration in all aspects, mental, physical, psychological, and moral at the same time Realistic education with an integrated view of human nature, in addition to other results and scientific recommendations that contribute to the development of scientific research.
