Abstract EN

The chronotope is based on the integration of time in space to form a single space called zemkani space.

This space is characterized by unity, harmony and organic overlap.

Chronotope is always achieved in literary work, in the presence of temporal and spatial indicators that achieve the text or discourse of its organic consistency and semantic consistency.

This paper is based on the analytical descriptive approach, the term "chronotope" in Amal Dunkul's poetry.

This study aims to highlight the space of the chronotope in a poem (from the memoirs of the Mutanabi) to the Egyptian poet Amal Denkul, and to highlight the reasons for the resort to the poet to take this method.

The importance of studying this poem has come to be seen through the study of extraneous elements in the composition of the text structure.

By clarifying their narrative manifestations of: time, anticipation, retrieval, chronological order, location, openness and closure.

We have come to the conclusion that the goal of the poet in this poem to resort to these elements the use of narrative construction to address social issues.
