In the modern era, the French were interested in the Algerian heritage written in all the sciences and the arts.

At the beginning of the 19th century, a large movement began to realize and translate this heritage into their French language.

This helped them to occupy Algeria and put their hands on the ammunition of their libraries.

These works have contributed to revealing many of the important and valuable works in Algeria and bringing them to light, and we have suggested that we present in this study models of some of these French orientalists and their efforts in the field S Algerian with an attempt to evaluate these efforts positively or negatively.
