Abstract EN

This study was conducted to explore the current standing of technological creativity amongst K12 school leadership for girls in Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It also seeks to identify the necessary requirements leading to technological creativity and utilizing this in the school’s technical and administrative work.

A questionnaire was designed to measure the level of creativity in two areas: a) technological creativity in administrative matters and b) technological creativity in technical affairs.

The questionnaire was administered to a randomly selected sample of (365) high school teachers.

Interviews were conducted on a deliberate sample of (10) secondary school leaders and educational supervisors.

Findings revealed an overall average level of technological creativity in both administrative and technical affairs.

Participants in the interviews seemed to unanimously agree on the need for physical, cognitive and human requirements that school leadership must have to gain access to technological creativity.

To achieve technological creativity, respondents agree on the necessity to provide schools with adequate equipment and build modern infrastructure in accordance with the modern technological trends, as well as the need to encourage teachers and systematically offer continuous training in technological areas.

Along with findings and recommendations, development plans as well as training programs were reported to the Ministry of Education.
