Abstract EN
Since its foundation, Iraq has witnessed successive crises with neighboring countries, and in large part it has been based on overlapping interests, population and wealth.
As a result of this interference, its external relations have been strained in some cases.
The relationship between Turkey and Iraq is more complex than Turkey's pragmatic policy towards Iraq, especially since these determinants are divided between demographic issues (the Kurds and Turkmens), Or an economic extension (oil, water) or apolitical extension represented by mutual positions on the internal changes of both countries.
