The research aims to identify Marat historical thinking in the middle stage of the point of view of teachers students.

The aspiring to education outputs in many middle schools in Iraq find a large proportion Maha to Ass required level, which does not possess the skills of students historical thinking scientifically accurate based on the study and scientific analysis and evaluation, as there is in Iraq, significant weakness in educational institutions, particularly in middle school caused by exceptional through which Iraq which produced a variety of problems, including Menen many sectors of society, including the education sector.

And reflected its effects on academic achievement for students and represented an increase we cause failure or drop out of school or poor academic achievement and this is what caused great waste of human potential and physical potential and this is what touched researcher by conducting many interviews with lectureship and brief him on many of the results of studies which are specialized evaluate the level student achievement.

Accordingly, the researcher believes that the highlight of the faces of students from age problems puts planners curriculum and exiled education in middle school before the feast of the challenges Menen terms of the agreement with the modern philosophy that changed the perception of historical knowledge of fixed knowledge to know debatable, criticism and interpretation based on historical evidence, and this can only be achieved by owning a teacher of history the basic skills of gathering information and evaluating the absorption and historical analysis of issues and historical problems and interpreted scientifically accurate, and make decisions as necessary to the middle school students and is the essence of the study of history and needed by history teacher in order boosted the of Teaching effectively achieve its objectives to be achieved.

Based on the above, it has focused the attention of the researcher to identify the problem discussed the following question : What is the historical thinking on middle school students from the perspective of teachers' skills.

So promising researcher questionnaire included the question is : What are the historical thinking skills of middle school students and presented to the research sample consisted of (100 started) Menen teacher graduates of colleges of education / history department.

After that happened researcher on the views of teachers, which consisted of (4) basic skills and (26) sub-skill, displayed a researcher at a group of experts and specialists in teaching methods and psychology and measurement and evaluation to determine the validity of those skills, and has become a tool in its final form consisting of ( 4) basic skills and (20) sub-skill and make sure researcher of the stability of the tool by using the Pearson correlation coefficient, and stability coefficient extracted in a way re-testing.

After the completion of the procedures related to research, the researcher suggested many of the conclusions which showed the importance of historical thinking among middle school students skills being the essence of history must therefore school history to wield it in the course of history teaching students.

The researcher recommended a number of recommendations including : Interest in historical thinking skills by teachers of history in middle school and the use of primary historical sources such as documents and texts stage, and the adoption of history teachers on the modalities and methods of teaching are characterized by modernity in order to help students absorb the historical material well without saving.
