Abstract EN

The current study was conducted to identify the degree of implementing certain aspects of managerial empowerment amongst GDE’s staff; namely, 1) delegation of responsibility, 2) developing creative behavior, 3) motivation, 4) teamwork and 5) professional development.

It also aimed at detecting any statistically significant differences that can be attributed to the variables of work position, academic qualification and work experience.

Using the descriptive analytical method, a survey of (27) itmes divided into (5) sections representing the 5 aspects of managerial empowerment mentioned above was administered to a population sample of (166) employees working for GDE in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

With an average of (3.5), findings revealed an overall high level of managerial empowerment implementation.

Teamwork came on the top of the list, followed by delegation of responsibility and then by developing creative behavior.

Professional development and motivation, however, scored an average of (3.30) each.

There were no statistically significant differences, which can be attributed to any of the study variables.
