Abstract EN

This study proposed a collective guidance program to develop the values of citizenship related with self- employment female students of 10th grade in the Sultanate of Oman.

This would be achieved through answering the following questions: - What values of citizenship should be developed by students of grades 10, 11 and 12 of post basic education in Oman? What is the availability of citizenship values in the books of Your Career in grades 10, 11 and 12 in the Sultanate of Oman ? - What is the proposed program to develop the values of citizenship that are related with self-employment of grade 10 female students? To answer the study questions, the researcher learned the values of citizenship which should be included in the books of Your Career .

Also, the researcher used repetitions and percentages to analyze the data.

So, the sample of study consisted of the books of your career in grades 10, 11 and 12 which had been introduced in 2015 / 2016 in the school curricula.

The Most important Findings are: 1- Your career curriculums focus on a set of citizenship values in which the total repetitions in the classes were (619) indicating that values of citizenship are taken care of.

The aspect ( values of citizenship in the social domain) came in the first rank reaching (465) of its total repetitions values with (75 %).

The aspect ( citizenship values in the economy domain) came in the second rank reaching ( 154) of its total repetitions values with (25 %).

2-Proposed guiding program is designed to develop values of citizenship related with self- employment of grade 12 female students .

In the lights of findings, the researcher recommends making use of values citizenship list and the need to achieve a balance among the citizenship values based on their different aspects.

Also, the researcher recommends presenting these values explicitly rather than implicitly and designing similar programs to develop the citizenship values of different grades.
