تحليل جغرافي لظاهرة البطالة في محافظة المثنى للمدة (2010-2016)‎

Abstract EN

Unemployment is on of the negative phenomena accompanying weak societies which lack developmental planning and right orientation of the financial resources .

This applies to Almuthana province which was suffering and is still suffering of unemployment , where the number of unemployed in 2010 was (29246) which increased to (75140) in 2016 .

Financial and administrative corruption which prevails in governmental institutes is one of the reasons that led to the prevalence of this phenomenon .

The study finds out that unemployment prevails among males at the expense of females , where males unemployment between (2010- 2016) was (93% , 94.7%) respectively , and females unemployment was (7% , 5.3%) respectively .

This is due to the nature of the tribal society which rejects working women .

Add to this , education level of the unemployment where only (9.8%) earned preparatory school certificate and the rest were below this level.
