The Woman and its Status in the Old Egyptian Society The woman had in the old Egyptian society had approximately enjoyed the complete equality with the man concerning the great respect regarding freedom , rights and privileges as compared with Greek and Roman women .

This was markedly clear in dealing with old Egyptian queens with dedication .

On the contrary ,showing disrespect with them meant at that time as opposition to the old Egyptian beliefs .

The present paper is divided into three sections .

The first section is mainly concemed with the role of the woman in the social aspect as well as the religious role The second one is related to the political aspect and the role of the woman as aqueen of Egypt.

The third and final section is also devoted to the role of the woman and what said by the Egyptian wise men in praising the woman as considered half of the society
