Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرّف على أثر استخدام اللوح الأبيض التفاعلي في تحصيل طلبة الصف الثامن في مقرر العلوم في مدارس محافظة العاصمة عمّان، و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قامت الباحثة بإعداد اختبار تحصيلي قبلي و بعدي تم التأكد من صدقه و ثباته، إذ تم استخدام المنهج شبه التجريبي، حيث طبقت الدراسة على عينة مكونة من (58) طالبا و طالبة تم اختيارهم بالطريقة القصدية من طلبة الصف الثامن في مدرسة أكاديمية خليل الرحمن الذين توزّعوا على مجموعتين : مجموعة تجريبية مكونة من (29) طالبا و طالبة درسوا باستخدام اللوح الأبيض التفاعلي، و مجموعة ضابطة مكونة من (29) طالبا و طالبة درسوا باستخدام الطريقة الاعتيادية، إذ تم تطبيق الدراسة على وحدة تعليمية في مقرر العلوم (وحدة الموجات و الاهتزازات).

و ذلك في الفصل الدراسي الأول للعام (2017/2018).

و تم استخدام تحليل التباين المشترك مُتعدّد المتغيرات (MANCOVA)، لتحليل النتائج ثم تفسيرها، و قد خلصت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات التطبيق القبلي و البعدي للاختبار التحصيلي لصالح الاختبار البعدي، و في اتجاه المجموعة التجريبية التي استخدمت اللوح التفاعلي، و وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية وفقا للنوع الاجتماعي لصالح الإناث في المجموعة التجريبية، مما يدل على فاعلية استخدام اللوح التفاعلي في التحصيل الدراسي.

و أوصت الدراسة إلى ضرورة حث المعلمين على الاستفادة من استخدام الأجهزة و الأدوات التكنولوجية كاللوح التفاعلي و اعتمادها كأسلوب من أساليب تدريس العلوم، و تدريب المعلمين على توظيف اللوح التفاعلي في صفوفهم الدراسية لجعل المتعلم فردا نشطا في العملية التعليمية التعلمية في الغرفة الصفية.

English Abstract

The purpose of the study is to assess the effect of using the interactive whiteboard on the overall achievement of eighth grade students in science course in the schools of Amman governorate.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared a pre and post achievement test that was verified and validated.

This quasi-experimental approach was used on a sample of (58) students, who were intentionally selected from the eight grade students at Khalil AL Rahman Academy during the first semester of the (2017-2018) Academic year.

The students were divided into two groups, an experimental group (treatment group) consisting of (29) students, who were taught by using the interactive whiteboard, and the control group which consisting of (29) students, the study was applied on one educational unit in science (Waves and Vibrations unit).

The Multivariate Analysis of Covariance method (MANCOVA) was used to analyze, and explain the results of the students.

The analysis led to two main findings : There are differences between the pre and the pos-test results indicating that the students who were taught via IWB did better than the students who were taught via the traditional way.

Statistically-significant differences, and better overall achievements were also observed within the girls, who were part of experimental study, which indicates the effectiveness of the use of IWB.

The main recommendation of the study is for teachers to use IWB method in teaching science because it is proved to be an effective technique that engages the learner/student more and makes them an active participant in the learning process as well as in the classroom.
