Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to uncover the reasons that lead young people to commit suicide and what are the preventive methods that contribute to the retreat from the recurrence of suicide attempts.

We have concluded that the Algerian youth commit suicide for a number of reasons, including economic, emotional, family, and study causes, according to the circumstances.

As for the preventive methods is the medical and social intervention as well as psychological care and psychological family support that helps young people to stop thinking about suicide and adapt to the conditions of life and try to find satisfactory solutions to them
