Abstract EN

The present research aims to identify level of citizen knowledge of patient's rights.

The study sample consisted of 100 men and women taken from (3) government hospitals in Baghdad for the year of 2016/2017, The patient's rights scale was constructed and its validity and reliability were verified.

To analyze the results statistically, the Pearson correlation coefficient and the T-test were used for two independent samples and for one sample.

The research resulted in the following findings: - There is a level of knowledge in the research sample scores in patients' rights, its average was greater than the average mean of the scale.

- There is a statistically significant difference between the average score in patient's rights scale according to gender for the sake of males.
