Abstract EN

This research aimed at identifying to what extent the use of project method is effective in development of concepts of natural resources course for 6th class pupils at basic level.

The researcher adopted the experimental method, the research population consisted of the 6th class pupils at basic level education in Administrative Unit of Kalaklat Sector, the research sample consisted of (60) pupils from the total research population, then it was divided into two groups a controlling group and an experimental group per (30) pupils in each one.

The researcher used tests as tool to collect the data for the two measurements, and then the data were statistically processed by using the average, standard deviation and (T) test.

The most important finding is: there are statistically significant differences between the marks average of the two groups in free time filling, beauty sense and innovative thinking in favor of the experimental group in the post test.

The researcher presented some recommendations the most important: teaching by the use of lecture method should be decreased because it is not appropriate to basic level quick-weary pupil.

The most important suggestions are: the project method should preferred in teaching the course of "Man and the Universe" for 5th class, 2nd circle of basic level education.
