Abstract EN

The aim of the study was to identify the impact of the digital environment on the behavior of medical school students towards the use of information resources, to identify the behavior of medical students in their search for information and to identify the difficulties faced by students of the medical school while searching for information.

To find out the behavior of searching for information in the students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum, a random sample of them was selected from the library of the Faculty of Medicine up to 80 students and the data was analyzed through the statistical analysis program SPSS.

The study results in a number of results: The experience of medical students in using the computer, the internet and the library is very good, which confirms that the students of the Faculty of Medicine are affected by the digital environment for their knowledge.

The reasons that lead the students to search for information vary in different proportions but are related to academic motives such as course requirements The requirements of scientific research and the preparation of the duties of the duties of the study of the behavior of medical students in the preference for electronic resources (digital) during the process of searching for information because of the constant update and remote access, in addition to it provides options for the use of senses To accommodate other information
