Abstract EN

This paper investigate relationship between parental treatments as it is conceived by the childrenand their ability to develop a creative pattern of thinking.

The descriptive and analytical method was used.a research methodologystudy consisted of the creative thinking test the high intelligence quotient test and the parental treatment (test) in order to measure creativity intelligence and parental treatment resistivity.

A random sample of secondary public schools (second year classes) in Omdurman province: the sample consisted of (120) students from 15 to 18 years old.

To treat the data statistically the researcher used person’s correlation.

Besides, partial correlation formula andT-test .

The study achieved these findings:  There is a positive correlation of statistical significance between the pattern of paternal treatment- as it is conceived by the children and their ability of creative thinking in case of the boys, girls and both sexes while the correlation of the over protection variable in the girls cases showed no statistical significance.

 There is a positive correlation of statistical significance between the patterns of maternal treatment as it is conceived by the children and their ability of creative thinking in eases of boys girls and both sizes, while the correlation of the over protection and tolerance variables showed no statistical significance.

 There are no statistical significance sex differences in the patterns of parental treatment but in the case of equal treatment by the mother the study showed differences of significance in favor of statistical.

 As for the ability of creative thinking the study showed differences of statistical significance in originally.

Fluency and over all creative thinking in favor of girls while in the eases of flexibility variable, the study indicated no differences of statistical significance between boy and girls.

 As for the correlation between creative thinking and the patterns of paternal and maternal treatment in fixing the influence of general intelligence there were no change observed in the different dimensions with exception of tolerance dimension.

According to the results of the study the researcher put forward some recommendationsconcerning some aspects of the relation between the two variables of the study which are positively reflected in the development creative ability
