Abstract EN

This research entitled by "Color variation in Ottoman Mqamat" studies analytically and critically the aesthetics of color variation in Ottoman Mqamat.

It discusses literary portraits compromised in them highlighting the influence of color and its aesthetics on the one hand , and the abilities of writers in the manipulation of colors on the other hand, as well as the magnificence that writers present making their Maqamat an alive lexicon, a lexicon that is of splendor and ingeniousness; and a resource that scholars seek whenever needed to do so.

Moreover their works became as a mirror that reflects reality of life throughout the Ottoman Empire.

The research also points out the ability of the writers in reflecting the psychological and social reality aspects of the Ottoman Mqamat.
