Abstract EN

This research investigated the effect of the frequency of the Arab’s usage of certain words on structuring and explaining the grammatical rule in Ibn al-Anbari’s work.

It showed the significance of that by analyzing quotations in which he specified that he relied on the so-called “the frequent usage” by the grammarians while structuring or explaining a syntactic rule.

The researcher relies on the indicative and analytical approaches to investigate the texts, which he uses in this study.
