Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة تعرف الصعوبات التي تواجه طلاب المرحلة الأساسية العليا في تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية في مديرية تربية وتعليم لواء الجامعة عمان، من وجهة نظر المعلمين والمديرين والطلبة، و بيان هل توجد فروق في تقديراتهم تعزى لمتغير نوع المستجيب، مستخدمة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، عبر استبانة مؤلفة من (٥٠) فقرة، موزعة على (٥) مجالات، وعينتها كانت مجتمعها بالنسبة للمعلمين و المديرين مكونة من (١١٦) معلما و معلمة، و (۲۷) مديرا و مديرة، أما الطلبة فكانت عينة عشوائية تألفت من (۲۵۰) طالبا و طالبة.

أظهرت نتائجها أن تقديرات المعلمين و الطلبة لهذه الصعوبات كانت، متوسطة، و مرتفعة من وجهة نظر المديرين، كما أظهرت فروقا بين تقديرات المديرين و الطلبة و لصالح المديرين، و بين المديرين و المعلمين، و لصالح المديرين، و بين المعلمين و الطلبة و لصالح المعلمين.

و في ضوء هذه النتائج قدمت عدة توصيات، أهمها جعل مواضيع المقررات الدراسية ملائمة لحياة الطلبة الواقعية، و إعادة النظر في برامج إعداد معلمي اللغة الإنجليزية و تدريبهم.

English Abstract

This study aimed to identify the difficulties facing the students of the upper basic stage in learning the English language in the directorate of education of Amman/ The University Brigade from the perspective of the teachers, students and principals and identify whether there were differences in their estimations due to the variable of the kind of respondent.

This was done through using the descriptive, survey approach and a questionnaire consisting of (50) items distributed to (5) fields.

The study sample represented the community for teachers and principals that it consisted of (116) male and female teachers, (27) male and female principals and a stratified sample of (250) male and female students.

The results showed that the estimates of these difficulties by both teachers and students were moderate while they were high from the perspective of the principals.

The study also showed differences between the estimates of principals and students in favor of the principals and between the principals and teachers in favor of the principals and finally between the teachers and the students in favor of the teachers.

In the light of these results, the researcher presented some points, most important of which is suiting the topics of the curricula suitable to the logical life of students and reconsidering the programs of preparing and training the teachers of the English language.
