Abstract EN

The present study represents comparative study of different admission criterions in computer science colleges at many local and regional universities.

The main objective of this study is finding appropriate and suitable admission conditions that should be fulfilled by the students enrolled to the college of computer and information security (CCIS) at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS).

Various variables of acceptance procedures were examined among the colleges of Computer science considered in the study to find out the best admission practices that should be considered in CCIS admission system.

These variables include mainly Grade Point Average (GPA) threshold, local and international record examination requirements , English language proficiency examination test type and degree, recommendation letters from the previous under-graduate studies, etc..

.The study concluded that, in order to accept outstanding students and increase the scientific level of graduated master hold scholar and enhance the engagement and suitability of students to the CCIS master program, conditions such as GPA, English proficiency test standards and local record graduate examination should be considered with the acceptance criterions indicated in the study.
