Abstract EN

This study discussed and analyzed some art works in the field of modern sculpture in the first half of the twentieth century.

It aimed to outline the creative plastic formula to express the aesthetics of artistic form of the sculpture that avoid traditionalism, and revealing plastic formulas.

The second part discussed the beginning of modern arts trends, especially the trends of sculpture in the first half of the twentieth century.

The study concluded that modern sculpture styles have multiplied, and that the artist distanced himself from strict form and preferred free formulas, the ideas of new trends affected the styles of sculpture and changed its forms from one trend to another, the perceived and the imagined forms were merged, the artist derived a new form out of them without losing the main idea of his work.
