The Issue of monitoring and securing the maritime borders and national water and the vessel traffic has concerned the maritime communities.

This issue exacerbated with the complexity increasing of the maritime environment in terms of increasing the types and sizes of ships and the increase in the legal and illegal naval activities, despite the advancements and development of technical means of control and security.

The research problem is the distribution of monitoring and securing the maritime borders and national water responsibilities.

Lack of body style like Coastguard in the Republic of Sudan shall affairs security of maritime boundaries and national water despite the increase in maritime activities and that increasing threats to maritime safety and illegal activities.

Weakness of the means and control techniques and securing the maritime borders and vessel traffic along Sudan coast is stated.

Also, it is not to keep pace with technology development.

The researcher Follow in the study the descriptive analytical comparative method.

Components of the Sudan coast, maritime borders and Sudanese national water are described.

Techniques of how to monitor and secure it are discussed.

Versions of the Sudanese sea ports corporation are analyzed, to get statistics on the movement of ships on the coast of Sudan.

Components of bodies such as The U.S.

Coastguard, the Canadian Coastguard and Saudi borders guards (Maritime Administration) are described and compared, to reach the goal of the study.

The study finally reaches a simple proposal for the Sudanese Coastguard Authority, which takes responsibility of monitoring and securing the maritime borders and the Sudanese national water.

In addition to some recommendations in order to integrate the work with the relevant entities in that field are included.
