The research aims to highlight the most important da'wah (teaching Islam) methods of the spoken word by inference from the Quran and the Sunnah, showing the Prophet's da'wah practices, and highlighting the linguistic and religious significance and purposes of the research terminology, i.e., the methods, the teaching of Islam, and the spoken word.

The study shows the link between the significance and da'wah methods of the spoken word which refers to wisdom, effective advice and good argument where each method has its special effect.

It shows that the method of wisdom is more useful to persuade.

The method of effective advice can emotionally and behaviorally influence the recipient audience.

The method of argumentation has impact upon the recipients' minds.

Effective debate is among the best methods of understanding and among the most important techniques of cognition and persuasion.

There is a difference in the impact degree according to the characteristics of each method.

The researcher recommends employing the original approaches of da'wah to keep up with the global communication revolution and take advantage of it for da'wah methods because of its influence upon the audience.
