Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to study the role of leadership in applying total quality management system in Sudanese governmental institutions.

The study was conducted in the Sudanese Petroleum Corporation.

Two hundered and seventy-four employees were selected from different backgrounds and different levels in the organization, as the study sample.

Questionnaire was used to collect data, analyze it and study it after looking at similar previous studies in the same area.

SPSS program was used in analyzing data to reach the results of the study, from which are the leadership in the Sudanese Petroleum Corporation has adopted the total quality management system by developing and improving the system constantly.

They also provided the necessary devices required for this.

The leadership concentrated and cared about the human element as it is the main factor for achieving the institutions goals.

On the other hand, the leaders in the institution are committed to apply the operations and quality management system within high global standards that serve the processes and policies used in the area of oil and gas.

The research sample is to tally aware of main responsibilities of the leadership that are seen in introducing and promoting the services given by the Sudanese petroleum Corporation.
