This article clears up theone side ofImamAl-Shawqani's interest in lingual interpretation and how he gives it a great space in the field of Interpretation, as shown clearly his interest in the meanings of vocabulary in the case of singular and plural, he also uses the etymology to identify the original Arabic use of the word.

His lingual Interpretation is also characterized by several features: Firstly, the acceptance of the famous lingual meaning and the exclusion of the rare weak one, moreover, his reliance on the faithful Imams who know the language providing the fixed prophetic interpretation of the Arabic meaning, Besides he prefers the religious truth rather than the lingual one, having tendency to the abridgement for mentioning the grammatical justifications and analysis guidance.

Finally, we conclude the uniqueness of the Imam Shawkani with his lingual and interpretive approach that combines the principles of the interpretation Science and the rules of the Arabic language.
