Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the challenges that face psycho-social specialists during providing psychological first aid in crisis and how to overcome them.

The sample of the study consisted of (95) psycho social counselors who follow UNRWA and local organizations and who worked with displaced people in shelter centers during the war on Gaza 2014.

The researcher adopted the analytical descriptive method.

The tool of study was the Questionnaire of challenges that face psychosocial specialists during providing psychological first aid After statistical treatment of the data results shows The average of challenges that face psychosocial specialists was (73.4%) which was high level.

The results also revealed that There are no statistically significant differences in challenges that face psychosocial specialists during providing psychological first aid in crisis due to ( sex variable, academic level, experience years, organization type, and place of work.
