Abstract EN

This research aims to explore the folk tale and seeks the possibility of utilizing it in the Sudanese child-theater, meaning to confirm and reinforce the significance of the folk tale components in shaping the conscience and nation’s identity, particularly children as rising generations, and meanwhile they are the focus of the study.

This study is based on two basic hypotheses: Firstly, the Sudan is rich with its various folk tales which can be utilized in child-theater.

Secondly, child future-identity is formed by the values botained from religion, history, heritage and modern technology.

The researcher used the Descriptive Approach in a functional practical applicable manner as that suits the research-requirements.

The most important results include:The Sudan is rich with its various folk tales which can be utilized in child-theater whereas most of the Sudanese folk tales have educational, spiritual and aesthetic values.

In addition, child future-identity is formed by religious, historical and heritage values.
