Abstract EN

This study examined the role of the Sudanese television drama in moral values consolidation applied on the drama series (Aqmar Al-Dwahi).

The researcher divided this research into three chapters and conclusion.

The introduction includes; research problem, research significance, objectives, questions, hypotheses, approach, research limits, construction and the previous studies.

Chapter one titled (TV Drama), it consists of three divisions.

Division one dealt with the TV origin, evolution and role in the society.

Division two specialized for the TV drama, its origin and evolution up to now.

In Division three, the researcher examined the production of TV drama and its different means.

Chapter Two titled (TV drama and Values).

It includes three divisions; division one discussed the role of TV drama in the society.

Division two dealt with drama and values.

Division three allocated to study the Sudanese TV drama and its support and consolidation of the moral values, through a review of the general objectives of Series presented by TV during the period 2000-2015.

Chapter three represents the practical part of the study, in which the researcher worked on to analyze three episodes of the series (1st, 18th and the last episode).

And he conducted some interviews with the authors and filmmakers who are working in the field of the TV drama.
