Abstract EN

This study discussed and analyzed some of the works of art in the field of modern sculpture in the Sudan between (1950- 1985 AD).

Originality of the plastic experience of local traditions .

the study concluded that Sudanese sculpture developed distinguished styles and techniques , where every artist created his style , that contributed to the development of his own creative character and the cultural social , religious and political interests connected to it according to his artistic sense and the modern style of art that affected his works key words karma , Meroe , local heritage.
