Like the Poets in the Arab world, Algerian Poets have also relied on legendary characters.

In fact, they used legend in their poetic experiences in order to be precise, and also to improve their poetic product.

Generally, this poetic product includes the foreign legend with its surrounding context, so relying on legend may enable Algerian poets to take benefits from experiences of other nations.
