Abstract EN

After the global financial crisis and the significant effects on the global banking system there was a need to think of new mechanisms to improve banks' capacity to deal with future crises and to ensure effective management of existing risks and the risks revealed by the crisis, which was supported by the Basel Committee in its third agreement (Basel 3), which states hastened to implement, including the Arab countries, and in this context we will try through this study to put the implementation of this agreement in banks, addressing the effects of the global financial crisis affecting the Arab region and the financial measures taken to deal with it, thus identifying the most important changes and reforms Basel 3, as well as the presentation of the legal measures taken by the Arab central banks to implement these reforms.
