The current research aimed at identify the effect of using the methods of functional and creativey topics in the achievement of students of the fourth grade literary expression.

The research was limited to the fourth grade in the subject of students in Diyala province of For the second semester of 2015-2016.

The researcher used the experimental design with the equivalent groups.

The sample consisted of (60) students distributed in two groups, the first group taught in the traditional method and the second coerce the creative mouthed The search process was conducted by the researcher, which is a test to measure the effect of the use of the two methods of creative topics in the achievement of students of the fourth grade literary expression of performance.

After processing the statistical data using the T- test) for two independent samples, The results showed that the experimental group members exceeded the control group.
