English Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of the knowledge management processes on achieving the competitive advantage in Jordanian commercial banks.

This study considered tow variables, knowledge management processes considered (Knowledge Generation, Knowledge Acquisition, Knowledge Storig, Knowledge Sharing, Knowledge Application), and competitive advantage dimensions consisted from (Service Delivery Speed Advantage, Quality Service Advantage, Flexibility Advantage).

To achieve the objectives of this study, a questionnaire was designed by the researcher containing (49) paragraph and its validity and stability were tested.

The study population consists of employees in the top and middle administrations and their assistants at Jordanian commercial banks.

In order to achieve the study objectives, the study sample consisted of (101) respondents, the data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), to reach the goals and objectives of this study.

After analyzing the tool, of the results namely: there exists a statistically significant impact at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05), for three of the knowledge management processes which are (Knowledge generation, knowledge storage and knowledge application) on achieving the competitive advantage in Jordanian commercial banks, there exists a statistically significant impact at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05), for four of the knowledge management processes which are (Knowledge generation, knowledge Acquisition, knowledge storage and knowledge application) on achieving the Service Delivery Speed Advantage in Jordanian commercial banks, there exists a statistically significant impact at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05), for three of the knowledge management processes which are (Knowledge generation, knowledge storage and knowledge application) on achieving Flexibility Advantage in Jordanian commercial banks, The study recommended that necessary to attention to knowledge management processes that Contributes to achieving the competitive advantage in Jordanian commercial banks
