English Abstract

The study aimed at measuring the impact of wisdom management as an independent variable through (prediction, openness to others and expertise and experiences) in taking strategic decision making as a dependent variable through (maturity and comprehensiveness, networking, level of agreement, decentralization level (participation level)).

The study population consisted of all employees Etihad Bank in Amman amounting to (1033) employees from 34 branches.

The study sample consisted of (201) individual by the purposive sample method bank.

The sample was selected.

To accomplish the study's objectives the descriptive analytical method was used through examining the correlation between all main and sub variables using various statistical methods such as means and sample standard deviation to determine the relevant importance of the study's items and variables.

The study reached to a number of findings, most important of which was there is a statistically significant impact at the level of significance (  0.05) for the wisdom management in its dimenencionc: (predication, openness to others and experiments and experiences) on the taking of strategic decision in its dimension: (maturity and comprehensiveness, networking, level of agreement, decentralization at Etihad bank in Jordan.

In the light of the study results, conclusions were made, most important of which is that there is a significant impact of wisdom management on the Etihad's staff while making strategic decisions, following are the most important recommendations: The study recommended that the Bank management should focus on instructing the bank management to benefit from new updates in international environment, identify changes analyzing strengths and weaknesses, seizing opportunities and how to face challenges to preserve the competitive status of the bank.
