Abstract EN

The present work sheds light on the formation of folk resistance in Iraq in 1958 .this force was supported by the government providing the circumstances for Its presence till it was dissolved in 1959 .

this force was characterized by its popularity and support for the government of the 14 July .

further , it was highly organized and distributed along the map of Iraq , from the north of the south .

it included different groups of people though it was regarded as militia , but the government connected it with a law , organized its presence and controlled it under the influence of the communist party in Iraq which was the reason behind its dissolving since it guided this force according to its needs.
