Abstract EN

This research is an attempt to verify some of the dialects spoken by people in light of the ancient Arabic dialects.

This aims at confirming that these dialects are a part of the Arabic linguistic heritage.

Hence, the study has examined the phenomenon of voice replacement in Naour Dialect.

Moreover, this article has analyzed this phenomenon in line with research done on ancient Arabic dialects as well as modern Phonetics.

In order to achieve the desired goal, this research begins with an introduction which explains the objectives of this research and its approach.

It then proceeds with a preface explaining about Naour and its inhabitants.

The study then displays the voice phenomena of substitution in this dialect in terms of replacement of the consonants and vowels.

The study has offered a conclusion with the most important findings of the study.
