Abstract EN

This research is divided into two chapters; the first of which shed light on containers' environmental and security risks, history; definition, features, significance, legal nature and kinds.

The second chapter covered protection of KSA's maritime boundaries from the risks of containers as well as maritime delimitation according to United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) 1982, and KSA Sea Areas System 1433 AH regarding delimitation of territorial sea and exclusive economic zone.

The research summed up with a number of findings and recommendations
