Symbolism is one of the most prominent artistic techniques in modern Arabic poetry.

Modern Arabic poetry, especially the poetry of resistance is full of symbols This is due to various reasons.

We can refer to political repression, embodiment and deepening of meanings and axioms And Participation of the recipient in the thought of the poet and his feelings.

The use of symbols in the literature of resistance in the Arab world has increased After the Arab occupation of the West And the flourishing of the literature of resistance and the knowledge of Arab poets and writers on the symbolic school.

This article deals with the study of natural symbols in the poetry of resistance to contemporary poet Abdelaziz Al Maqaleh.

The poet speaks in his most famous poems about the homeland, resistance and revolution before the occupiers and the oppressors Even access to freedom and dignity.

He employs natural elements as a symbol of what he wants to express, covering the meanings and emotions of the symbols of nature and conveying them to the recipient.

He seeks his resistant poetry around the resistance, such as occupation, oppression, injustice, revolution, freedom, rights, martyrs and displaced persons.

And symbolizes the storm, the rats, the crocodile and the living to anger And the wolf and the mouse and the fox and the dog to injustice.

Spring, sun, moon, water, green, morning, palm and light to freedom The earthquake, the fire, and the red color symbolize the revolution.

The poet gives these elements new meaning and connotations other than their lexicon.

This saves him from the danger of imprisonment, murder and abuse.
