English Abstract

The purpose of this research is to introduce and present the degree of cultural intelligence and social problems solving style among Baghdad university students , also to discover the different between these two variables according to their sex and specialty ,in order to accomplish the aim of the study ,the researcher construct a cultural intelligence scale according to (Eaily,2003) definition also adopting social problems solving style which done by (Kadeem,2017) as Dozela definition.

After investigate the scale characters for both scale to figure out the truth by clearly defined truth through portrait to several judges specialize in psychology and education ,acceptance agreed by experts on the two scale paragraphs except the two paragraphs of the second and third dimension , were abolition ,also adjustment to reread the other paragraphs for the cultural intelligence according to fixing by two ways which they are reexamine and equation (Alfa-Kronbahk) the fixed variable were (0,81 – 0,84) respectively for cultural intelligence scale while the fixed variable by (Alfa-kronbahk) for the social proplems solving style by objective trend procedure is (0,79) negative trend is (0,80) ,the avoid trend is (0,86) ,reckless is (0,70) reasonable trend (0,75).

The study sample include (400) students for both specialties ,(156)male and (244) female from Baghdad university by choosing them randomly with relative distribute so the male share with 39% while the female with 61%.After analysis the data statistically according to (spss) for social science the conclusion are: 1.

University students are good in cultural intelligence .

2.

There are no sex differentiate between male and female 3.There are no differences statistically for specialize variance in the degree of cultural intelligence .

4.University students use variety of method in quality in solving social problem except the negative procedures ,we can list as used :positive ,reasonable ,avidness ,erectness ,and negative trends .

5.No significant variance statically among university students in term (positive , reasonable ,avidness , and negative trends) while the reckless trend shows significant variance in kind variable for male while the specialty for female.

6.

There is correlation coefficient between cultural intelligence and the way of social problems solving style in every dimension .
