The purpose of this research is to identify the effect of the Toms and Robinson strategy (PQ4R) on the achievement of Arabic language in the first grade students.
There was no statistically significant difference at the level of (0,05) between the average achievement of first grade students who studied Arabic using the Toms and Robinson (PQ4R) strategy and the mean average second grade students who studied the same subject in the usual way.
The sample was composed of two groups (experimental and control), and the medium was chosen randomly for girls to conduct the experiment.
It consisted of five people for the first grade.
The experimental group includes (33) female students, represented by Sha (A) The control group includes (34) female students.
The researcher was rewarded before the implementation of the experiment between the students of the two groups statistically in a number of variables: the age of the female students calculated in months, the academic achievement of the parents and the grades of female students in the Arabic language subject in the semi- 2017- 2018).
There were no statistically significant differences between the two research groups in these variables.
The researcher identified the topics to be taught during the period of the experiment, namely six topics of Arabic grammar for the first intermediate grade, and formulated behavioral objectives for these subjects, 70 were behavioral goals, and prepared teaching plans for both groups (experimental and control) Of experts and specialists.
After the statistical analysis of the data using the T-Test for two independent samples, the researcher found a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the students of the two groups at 0.05 level for the benefit of the experimental group that studied the Arabic language in the Toms and Robinson strategy (PQ4R).
