English Abstract

The research focused on the importance of adopting social media sites to moderate media discourse, ban publishing or broadcasting the speech of penitence and avoiding media misinformation, and spreading the culture of dialogue, human rights, peace and peaceful coexistence among members of Iraqi society to confront violence and terrorism that aims at national unity.

Cultural, religious and ethnic diversity, with the need for partnership between the government and the media in promoting national reconciliation as the media occupies an advanced position in the industry of public opinion trends, as well as respect for the public's right to information and non-discrimination And respect for freedom of thought, belief and expression and to promote communication between media institutions and the public.
