Abstract EN

The study aims to discuss the idea of killing the poetic father in the poetic experience of Habib Al-Zyoudi, a phenomenon that has not been covered enough in contemporary criticism even though it was as old as poetry itself.

However, the phenomenon has been manifested nowadays due to time-space compression and the spread of modern technology.

This phenomenon will be approached from three dimensions: revolution against critics of poetry, revolution against the poetic father (Arar), and revolution against Tayseer Al-Sboul's perspective of suicide.

The study concludes that Habib Al-Zyoudi has traced his own philosophical poetic path which has distinguished him from others in the way he views the universe and humankind.

It also concludes that in Al-Zyoudi's revolution against the poetic father, he depends on particular language formulations and artistic methods, such as repetition, the sequence of words, and noun phrases.

Not only has he gained the upper hand in his battle with Arar and Al-Sboul, but also he has depicted both Arar and Al-Sboul's satisfaction with his poetic experience as well as with his own view of the universe and humankind.
