The term "Ramlat Al Waheiba" is used to name a sandy desert region, mostly in the governorates of Al-Sharqiya, North and South, and part of it in Al-Wusta governorate in the Sultanate of Oman.

The term derives its significance from many sources, which has a direct impact on its authenticity and constancy since old times.

This is referred to by heritage sources and geographical maps, documented by international scientific studies conducted around this area, in addition to mentioning the term "Ramlat Al Waheiba" in the Omani history curriculum.

The research aims to show and analyze the philosophical sources of the term "Ramlat Al Waheiba" in the Omani heritage.

The research is based on the philosophical analytical approach to the roots of the originality of the term and its age in Omani history.

Among the most prominent results of the research is the steadfastness of the term "Ramlat Al Waheiba" in terms of legal, historical, scientific, cultural and demographic sources.

The research recommends that the old inherited term continue to be used because it results in positive results for the homeland in general
