As far as their meters are concerned, the Moashahat of Ibn Hajar al- Asqalani do correspond with the traditional poetic meter patterns, adopting the short ones.

That includes the partially partitioned Al-Baseet, Al-Hazej, Al-Rajez and Al- Mojtath, as well as the scattered Al- Saree’ and the twodactyl Al- Taweel.

However, some meters occur as new modulations of the Al-Taweel, Al-Baseet and Al- Hazej.

Moreover, some of the Moashahat followed just one pattern and others combined two patterns; Al-Saree’/ Al- Rajez, Al-Hajez/Al-Taweel and Al-Mojtath/Al-Rajez.

And though some of the outcome results in using slang words, those words adjust well with their basic meters in the Moashahat.
